The site for this Chelsea development was an infill space, sandwiched between two taller buildings on an architecturally mixed street steeped in heritage. Our goal was to create a modern structure that complemented its surroundings without appearing too obtrusive.

The challenge was introducing a contemporary aesthetic to the traditional streetscape while respecting the area’s historical character. We aimed to design a distinctive yet sombre and elegant building, employing high-quality materials that positively responded to the prevailing context.

Map was involved in every aspect of this project – from the initial concept design and financial feasibility studies to overseeing project management and final delivery. Our hands-on approach ensured a cohesive and contextually appropriate solution.
