Despite its modest scale and constrained budget, this compact project featuring a poured concrete floor, floor-to-ceiling glass walls, and carefully landscaped pebbled edges, secured a well-deserved spot on our selected works list. Designed for a couple of artist clients, the use of space and materiality completely transformed their daily living experience. Years later, the project continues to fill our team with a sense of joy.

What began as a humble commission blossomed into an exercise in maximizing every square foot through intelligent spatial planning and inventive detailing. The seamless indoor-outdoor flow allows the compact interior to expansively extend into the thoughtfully curated exterior environment. The rawness of the concrete floor anchors the space with an urban, studio-like ambiance perfectly suited to the artistic sensibilities of its owners.

For our firm, this modest yet impactful project serves as a testament to the profound impact good design can have, regardless of size or budget constraints.
